“College Towns & States”

We all feel nostalgic for those places of our past that we hold close to our hearts. Hence, Jann Peitso paints her “States and College Towns” series with an eye toward the special college traditions and “hang outs” of  that time and those things that “we didn’t want our mamas to know about”in those often magical years.

The States of our birth, or those of our choosing, show her knack for focusing on the detail in ferreting out the little known facts  surrounding the towns and tourist attractions, each with their perhaps, amusing sights and memorable eateries.
